    I liked some of his movies, but he seemed to be speeding when he was on tv.

    Good observation, my friend.
    I’m sure that’s why I never became a huge fan. Sounds like I need to check out a movie or two. Saw him in Chew Bungee Jumanji and thought he pulled off the straight role really good. I may search Mrs. Doubtfire when the weather keeps me in more.

    That is because he was. Robin Williams was bipolar. Most people with the diagnosis do not live very long.

    It is a difficult mental illness to treat and to live with.

    For many people, bipolar swings can be dampened with Lithium. But then the overall mood level may need to be adjusted. It can be very difficult to find the right drug dosages. I don’t know what Parkinson’s would do to all that, if anything.

    @afficionado

    Why? Whatever he writes and draws here does nothing to Mr. Williams. I like it.

    See him in Mrs Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, Patch Adams, Dead Poets Society, the commercials for the Children’s Hospital, he could inspire and connect with anyone, the man could do it all. I think a lot of comedy is hiding pain and depression. I hope he is at peace now. Beautiful tribute Darrin.
