    Women love playing that game.
It always ends up in a nasty argument when they find that one item or there is a hesitation.

Oh! Sorry, but STNG was the pinnacle, the best, the very top. The first star Trek was very good, but looks dated; watching STNG episodes still looks up to date and the story lines are poignant. It was before Mr. Abrams turned it into an action, special effect fest. It was before “The Year of the Zendi”. It is something Roddenberry can still be proud of.

The original Star Trek was the best of its time… far better than ‘Lost In Space’ but it was not well organized, the writers did not work together, the star dates alone were cause for hilarity, some of the ‘dates were thousands of years apart. In retrospect it isn’t as ‘camp’ as the old Batman shows but it wasn’t far off either. The poor (over) acting on the part of some of the stars is funny now although at the time, with nothing better to compare it to it was fine. The Next Generation showed what GR could do if given a decent budget and cohesion, things he didn’t really have with the original show because the network didn’t think it would catch on.

Most people get wiser as they age, Lemont, you’ve been slowing losing it as you aged.

Kirk was in a class unto himself.
His style was perfectly fitted to the Denny Crane character he played on Boston Legal, but am I wrong in thinking STTNG didn’t exist in 1982?
    .
And folks, don’t jump on yoda1234 for my imaginary response other than the fact he and I both seem to have the same opinion of Uhura. (In my case, my high opinion of her is sullied by my unbecoming lust err I mean appreciation of her flawless beauty.)

The Original Series, Deep Space Nine and Voyager are my faves. No problem watching them all though. Babylon 5 was just awesome !

Babylon 5 was good. Ivanova ramming after, “Who am I? Who am I?”.I forget what came next, something to the effect I AM THE LAST THING YOU WILL EVER SEE, right after giving her lineage.

But the best TV SF was born after of the Blake’s 7 series, with its complex characterizations. Before that, you had “Wagon Train in Space”.
