I have never mastered that technique, or is it a mindset?

Well, that’s a common delusion – you are ignoring two of those three most of the time, so it’s just your hobby that gets your attention, and you end up feeling good about it, so win-win!

T.V. This reminds me of the part in the book The Little Prince when he’s visiting the drunk. “So, why do you drink?”
    “I drink to forget.”
    “Forget what?”
    “Forget that I drink.”

How about reading comics? Do they sharpen or dull the mind?

That’s why you only watch a couple of hours and read a lot plus do physical activity.

Dunno, but last night I realized that I’d forgotten Woody Allen’s last name. I did remember that his last name at birth was "Konigsberg, " but I couldn’t recall his first name at birth. I drifted in and out of sleep, and just before I got up, my inner ancient file clerk handed up “Woody Allen.” Then I recalled that his first name at birth was “Alan.” I don’t know whether this memory loss comes from reading comics, GoComics comments, or old age . . .

Funny, the little prince was required reading in Mexico, and I do not recall the drunk!!!! I loathed having to read the book, it was so boring.
