Oh for…just go ahead and tell him. He’ll learn soon enough from Hollywood how we brown-skinned Asians are all freedom-hating evildoers out to destroy his way of life.

It kind of falls flat when your name gives it away at the beginning. Are you trying to strawman for the other side or something?

You got it, kid. The fairy multitasks. She doesn’t do it as well as if she monotasked, but it’s not a high skill job.

    Lektio:

“Ignorant racist troll” is an appellation bestowed on me – on the response columns of this very strip – by one of your charming compatriots (I assume you’re American) for the crime of criticising Nobel Peace Prizident Barack Obama’s war crimes. I love, by the way, how Americans who know nothing about people are quick to leap to conclusions about them. Back in 2003 another of your charming fellow countrymen called me a “hook-nosed camel f***er” for opposing the invasion of Iraq.

I mean, how trollish of us to resent being invaded, occupied, threatened with attack, subject to economic sanctions, and bombed by flying death robots piloted by heroes sitting in bunkers twenty thousand kilometres away. We must be racist to hate that, right?

I support your views, and I participated in both Oil Wars. I am retired from the military now.

    Thank you, Potrzebie. I’m not anti-American. I’m just anti-idiots.

We should all be free to express our opinions, but we should also be willing to bear the results of expressing our opinions.
Too often people will in a knee-jerk manner express an unpopular opinion without thinking their ideas out fully. It is a shame that such people are surprised and offended when they end up being the subject of ridicule.
Sadly, most people will express an idea or opinion that they have absorbed from someone else without logically examining the position and finding themselves supporting a fallacious opinion unsupported by facts or logic.

Why should I care what’s “popular” among Americans? I’m not an American. I’ve been mocked by Americans for saying evolution is real. Does that mean I shouldn’t have said that either?

More to the topic… Kids are generally more frightened by what their parents WON’T tell them when they ask questions than by the truth. Just put it in terms a kid can understand. Lemont has difficutly with that, but I’m sure a trip to the library would turn up a few children’s books that handle it. Eve Bunting’s book about the LA riots was excellent.

an anti idiot troll who thinks our defenders should let themselves be killed to show how brave they are?

Our objective is not to die for our country, it is to see to it that those who wish to hurt us die for our country.
