I once referred to a friend of mine as short. She indignantly pronounced “I am NOT short, I am just right!” She had a point.

As long as your legs reach the ground you’re tall enough.

I’m with you Darrin. Five six and 3/8 ths is not short—though i’m not sure about the 3/8 ths part. My wife, who is quite a bit shorter than i am, once got stopped by a State Policeman for driving while short.

Well, I’m 6-1 an I doubt Raygun was. Of course he was never anything anybody ever claimed except a stupid 40 mule team Borax actor and an Oldtimers victim.

I am NOT short, I’m vertically challenged.

Frank Lloyd Wright would have agreed. He always took the position that the reason God made him 5’8" tall was to provide scaling for buildings. When someone’s hat got knocked off going through one of his doorways, the Not-So-Great (in stature, not ego…or talent) Man growled that he should take off his hat when he came indoors.

Nice artwork today. I like the way the shapes of the outer panels draw the eye to the middle panel w/ the partial view of Lemont’s face. The skyline behind, the patterns, all so well-done.

Can anybody make out what Lemont’s newspaper says?

Abe Lincoln was said to say after someone asked him how long ones legs should be that they should be “long enough to reach the ground”

peachyanddanny: Even that wasn’t true. Borax wagons (two for ore and one for water) were pulled by 18 mules – the wheel positions were held by massive draft horses.

Looking at Monday’s strip (“tomorrow”), looks like Lemont and C-Dog are the same height.
