“That’s good; I don’t pay you to work on the Sabbath…”

This guy is still bitter about working for her?! He’s been upset for years.

Dick’s character has become a bit overextended, wouldn’t you say? Unless, perhaps, he is the owner or Senior Partner’s son, he would be gone.

If he was at least funny, it would be worth putting with his jerk a**, but he’s not. Not even a little bit. Just annoying.

Dick’s channeling that Dilbert character who’s a professional shirker.

Yeah, but Wally has ‘zen’. Dick has ‘zip’. As for Sabbath being Saturday, some Protestants would protest, and say it was Sunday, but as a Protestant Seventh-Day-Adventist, Darrin hit the nail on the biblical head.

Now if Darrin would only realize the early Christians worshipped on the Lord’s Day, i.e. Sunday.

    Ignatius of Antioch

“[T]hose who were brought up in the ancient order of things [i.e. Jews] have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s day, on which also our life has sprung up again by him and by his death” (Letter to the Magnesians 8 [A.D. 110]).

If you can’t trust folks or get any work out of them and can’t fire them, pretend like they aren’t there. You won’t have to do any more work and won’t have to undo any bad work.
