The three comic strip characters most in need of reality therapy: Ted Forth, Big Nate, and Lemont. Not necessarily in that order.

If you think Ted needs reality therapy, you might be suffering from irony deficiency.

Ok, this is when this strip goes into its seemingly annual bad, boring, unrelatable story arc. I hate to be this critical, but come on…. There is more than enough urban/political/reality material to do than this stuff in today’s strip. I’m sorry, Bell. But this is the voice of a fan.

I would love to see a story arc featuring dialogue between C-Dog and Rev. Wilfred. That would be awesome because they are so different.

To each his own. This is the part I like best, the magical realism aspect. The trips to the afterlife, time travel, vampires, etc. I am hoping we finally find out what happened, though.

That would be awesome. but I think the odds of rhat are low. C-Dog would probably burst into flames if he set foot in Reverend Wilfred’s church.

You don’t think that Charlie Brown, Calvin, and Jason from “Foxtrot” aren’t in desparate need of a child psychiatrist?

C-Dog and Rev. Wilfred having a debate about Christianity would be epic. Rev. Wilfred representing the Christian view of the Bible and C-Dog, as only he can, questioning everything Wilfred is trying to prove…..or, C-Dog going to Wilfred to pick his brain on some advice about something. Just to see them go back and forth would be great. I dont think Bell has ever tipped the iceberg on that potentially great dynamic.

…Or C-Dog dissing Rev. Wilfred for taking Bush’s Faith Based Initiative money which sparks a debate. That could potentially be a great story arc.

Those are great ideas.
