Not knowing the difference between a slash and a backslash is like not knowing the difference between a colon and a semi-colon. How did you make it out of high school?

I just had a colon resection. I guess it’s now a semi-colon.

When I got out of high school, the backslash hadn’t been invented yet.

AS you note, there is a backslash, and a SLASH. No need for “forward” before “slash” … let’s not be sesquipedalian, shall we not?

If you’re left-handed, it is easy to get confused on which is the back slash. What is a back slash for a right-hander is a forward slash for a left-hander.

No, I’m not a slasher. If I can’t one-click it, it ain’t worth it.

No. A slash is a slash.

Jack, you used one of my favorite words. The word itself is a demonstration of it’s meaning

Shall we not be NOT sesquipedalian… or not be sesquipedalian?
Great word, but two nots rarely produce a shall… though, I’ve been wrong before.

Clearly, Lemont has written slash fiction.
