We are just another Road Side Rest stop in a large and ever spinning Universe. Also a fun place to stretch your many legs and get water.

There’s also the thrill of danger, because the natives will shoot at you with a wide range of projectile and missile weapons if they see you.

Well, you humans ARE amusing. Still… once my flying saucer is fixed, I’m OUTTA here.
Say, has anyone seen my Ouisgian Zoda?

Lemont, my brother, why are you still scribbling on a pad ? I understand you may wanna keep it retro, but come on man, this is the 21st century.

We have no idea how primitive we would be compared to any Aliens who came. Another life form may have focused on space exploration or simply had the right combination of break through’s to make it happen while at the same time not advancing as far in other areas. Likely? Not highly, but anyone who would actually assume we would be primitive clowns comparatively would be assuming way too much.

I wonder why no aliens are here exploiting our resources. Could be that we live in the boondacks?

Perhaps he wants his scribbles to survive a fall from a building? Perhaps he wants his scribbles to last into the 22nd century? I’ve got data in file formats created less than 20 years ago that can’t be read by the nth version of the same software today. I’ve seen CDs that were supposedly “archival” quality, stored at the proper temperature and humidity for as little as 5 years that are virtually unreadable today.
