The ball IS distorted on the wrong axis.

No it’s not, it would be distorted on the other axis if it were touching his hand or the floor. While it’s moving up and down, it should be distorted vertically, as it is in the drawing. </geek moment>

LOL It’s a cartoon!!! Lemont’s mouth once opened so far it rolled across his desk and onto the floor. That wouldn’t happen in real life either.
