Lemont’s just athtonithed at his son’s ability to pronounce symbols. Or maybe the kid said “Aapstert! Hash! Dollar! Percentage!”

Where Lamont comes from, that second one is a pound sign.

Has he been sending Lionel to “C-Dog’s Childcare, Bad Advice and Replica Watches?”

Well Lionel, tomorrow’s story will involve that very phrase. And maybe even a bar of soap.

Kid is likely just quoting a popular song…

Was watching five-year-old grandcherub on a Skype-like thing yesterday, and her mom had to ban computer use for the rest of the day because she kept saying something like “[Can’t remember word] my shiny XXX.” Seems as though other parts of the family let her watch “Futurama” while mom is away

Just yesterday I was wondering when Lionel would swear in front of Lemont. You just know he learned it from his mom, or maybe Clyde.

I have a feeling that Lamont was a lot like this at that age. But I also have a feeling Lamont’s mom wouldn’t have let @#$% slide.

Susan Sunshine already said it – but my first thought was “Has C-dawg been babysitting the kid?”

When I was on darpanet (1980’s), we called that 2nd symbol the “crunch sign”.

There are many meanings to “#”. Hash, crosshatch, pound sign, sharp sign, and more. … So, the kid’s name is Lionel? Does that mean he has a third rail?

Oh, and I nearly forgot what I came to the comments for: is “tiwed” supposed to represent “tired”? And is he ever going to get the kid to a speech therapist?

Keep him away from that vampire mother, Lamont ! He’s picking up bad habits.
