    Gotta hand it to you, Mr. Bell—it’s nice to see someone out there is as big of a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine geek as I am!

    Benny really is crazy. Sisko’s rank was Commander, not Captain. is also a geek

    @bdaverin

    For the first three seasons. Sisko was eventually promoted to Captain during season 4. (Bigger geek)

    I can understand not giving the patients rocks or scissors, but paper? That’s just mean!

    One of my favorite episodes! Well, 2 episodes. The story was a commentary on so many sociological issues. And it had Brock Peters, too!

    Whatever happened to Avery Brooks, anyhow? Better as Hawk in the Spenser and his own series, classically trained and profoundly dignified. Is he making a Trek Con living or actually working somewhere? I’m still searching eBay for some of his jazz recordings.

    Back to the strip…? I really like this guy. He tells the truth. He demands respect. He writes on John Edwards with his pen… and he thinks Star Trek rocks… and matters.
    Good guy!

    Looking back… Dr. Noodle’s line, actually, after recalling the “Trust me” promise to Lemont, was “Lemont Brown is… as sane as I am!”
    Pretty brave, as long as he considers his capture and threats of being eaten by the vampire as only a dream!
    A bit waffling (as in, just how sane is Noodle?), but shows some strength of character. His stock is up.

    At least he’s not pathetic enough to wear a toupe.
