Actually, this reminds me of the old joke about a man who says his lucky charm can keep elephants away. Someone points out that there are no elephants around, and he says, “See how well it works?”

Who did the editorial cartoon during Calif’s Prop 187 campaign, that ran in the LA Times? The old AmerInd Chief in full headdress (another stereotype), replying to the bloviating blowhard in the three-piece suit about ‘sending the illegals home’; “I’ll help you pack!” Loved it!
(My elephant repellent has been working for years, too!)
