In “Lost Horizon,” the closest thing the people of Shangri-La had to a religion was the practice of moderation in all things; that’s what made it a paradise.
Makes me wish that religious zealots would read something other than the “holy book” of their choice.

Where did we as women go wrong to make almost every religion in the world hate us so much? If it is not outright it is covert somehow (“women should be silent in the church), but most every religion has something against women. What did we do? Whatever it was I’m sorry already, let it go man, let it to!!!
