Lemont listens to stories like he writes.

Please let him finish. I can’t even remember when this story arc started, but I think we had a different President back then.

Um… three weeks. It’s been three friggin’ weeks, and ONE of them was a story set in the White House that had nothing to do with this arc. Bell’s been good enough to include a gag with every installment, unlike some other story strips we don’t need to mention. What is it with all the A.D.D. lately? It’s not like this is Mary Worth where it takes two months for her to walk from the couch to the front door. There’s a lot happening here, and I, for one, want to know more about it. Why rush it?

If Darrin Bell’s reading this, I hope he doesn’t wrap it all up in two panels next week just to please the short attention span theater crowd.

I want Arty’s coat. I think I was born 300 years too late. Except for the whole slavery, plague, and no indoor plumbing thing, the 18th Century seems like a great place to live.
