Aw, they’re just friends. I don’t think she’s waiting for him. Remember, she has (had?) a boyfriend recently, and Lemont’s also involved with someone else.

in times past, Susan has faced the realization that she does love LaMont, but indeed HE is clueless.

That’s right, you guys have a good point. But maybe he’s not clueless, maybe he’s just not interested. They’ve been friends since they were kids, they hang out all the time… maybe to him, she’s entered the friend zone, and now she’s just “one of the guys.”
