0 dimensions = point or singularity
1 dimension = line
2 dimensions = plane
3 dimensions = sphere, pyramid, cube or multifaceted object (space)
4 dimensions = width, depth, height and time (space/time)
According to the most accepted standard model of the universe, String Theory, there are 11 dimensions! The other 7 dimensions are either so tiny (at the Quantum particle scale), or so large (bigger than the observable universe) that we don’t notice them at the human scale.
The belief that our universe is one of many universes belonging to a multiverse is becoming more and more accepted by theoretical physicists.
