    Atta boy Calvin, you show them how you have the situation under control. My hero!

    A kid today would think it was unfair to have a TV that small, let alone not being able to watch it. Although I like the way this one jumps up and down when it is on.

    @Kaputnik

    My kids had no TV at all till they reached high school – one is still in high school, so we’re not talking about “the good ol’ days.”

    Calvin would be bored out of his mind toot suite. He’d want to go outside fast.

    Yes, Calvin! Go! What a smart little thing!

    If I were the parent, I’d extend the no TV period for as long as Calvin continues to sit in front of the blank TV. :D Let’s see how long he can last! So by the end of the week, when Calvin turns on the TV, I go turn it off and say, honey, your no TV period has been extended indefinitely because I see that you have just as much fun watching the blank screen!
