Right. It’s like Fibber McGee’s closet was always funny. Probably one of the reasons it was so funny was because you knew what was going to happen.

I suspect most of you will have to Google that.

Home alone all day, Hobbes is, bursting with energy, ready for the return of this best friend.

@MayoGalway: Yes, especially when Hobbes can only come to life when Calvin is with him.

My cat can never remembers anything, so I make my cat a list.
He also isn’t well groomed, so I bought my cat a comb.
To show their reverence for cats, ancient Egyptians would carve the cat a pillar.
I am retired, and I have a lot of cats. People ask, what does that Katmandu?
My goofy cat tried to go sailing! He’s a catamoron.
    And finally,
The actor who played Columbo adopted a cat. Does that make the catafalque?

I listened to Fibber McGee and Mollie with my Dad. Opening the closet was always a highlight. Radio programs were wonderful for the imagination. Jack Benny, Sky King, Sargent Preston and King, The Shadow, and the list goes on—
