I had this one posted in my office for a long time. I do have to point out that not acting is also a decision, in this case in favor of not cheating.

While I’ve yet to hear of a doctor who got their job without an M.D. from AA reasons, that type of hiring is now the normal situation in Federal Civil Service because of job requirements being waived in 1993 for protected classes. Not many left now in government that can actually do their jobs as scientists, foresters, engineers, and technical specialists because so few of them have the required degrees.

I agree. But if you decide of not acting in favor of not cheating is cheating about a moral decision to acting of not cheating. Ehm…

Cheating is unethical and in a place like school is promoting a lie and operating against the very reason for education. To learn. But we do see where someone who lied got a job but was later fired for it. Some of them in top positions in govt or a hospital. Some seem to be smart enough to fool them for a time and hope they won’t be checking on them.

Calvin should have written down what he told Hobbs. He might have gotten an “A.”

    “. . . what he told Hobbs . . . . "

    Precisely my thought, too.
But, by the time he had it figured out, he wouldn’t have had time to write it down.
