Hey, I do that with my boss all the time whenever she starts on one of her 20-minute rants!

A hell of a good sprinter, because a lot of people will take a swipe at somebody making all those faces while staring at them.

I DO Hope You’re being Facetious…But, In case You Aren’t : Calvin’s diatribe in panels 1-3 showcase his LACK of Charm, thus leading to Playground Pummellings, thus giving rise to the need to Escape said Pummellings. Ergo: Sprinter.

I had a manager I wish I tried that on. She reminded me of that ancient city Babylon.

I believe Calvin’s “natural charm” made Hobbs want to attack him and Hobbs was warning him to start running.

Sounds like Calvin has been watching too many TV talk-show hosts.

I hold some semi-minor problems in reserve. Stuff that only the boss can address (at least in his opinion) then pass on said problem before the rant starts. Been doing this for decades and it works like a charm most times.

You sound too much like my siblings. If you ever wanted to become an artist, piano is a way to express the art of music.

This is one of Hobbes’ best responses to day!
