    Like in today’s Peanuts strip, some questions aren’t even worth answering.

    I’m shocked that big picture people are treated that way by Mrs Wormwood.What an old bat she is.

    Evolutionists just think that evolution happened. They don’t look at the big picture which is that their whole belief is all upon a hypothesis

    Its more of a question that if we are all going to die, why are we born!!!

    @The Pikachu

    As opposed the belief in some bearded guy that lives in the sky and demands you love him and give him money?

    We’re already dead. The question is;

    Is this Heaven or Hell?

    I have two B.S. degrees (civil engr. tech OIT, and geology) and one M.S. (cons bio), each in different fields and I don’t believe in the religion of evolution. Circular logic never interested me.
    For the record, I do believe in Jesus Christ. He’s my Savior and like every believer, I have the indwelling Holy Spirit.

    @ theological dispute
    Such moments remind me that Mr. Watterson drew his comics in the pre-internet era. Any overzealous reader would have to discuss with paper Calvin (or Hobbes) or attempt to find a living person with different view and eager for a debate. Which might end up with a coffee and donuts, which might lead to friendship or even marriage.
    And what do we get from anonymous slogan-fighting? Coffee and donuts for everyone!

    But it certainly isn’t impossible to believe in both God and evolution.
    Creatures are evolving all around you.
    Virus’s and bacteria that cause illness can evolve into a new strain in just a matter of months or even weeks (many generations to them). Domestic animals have changed in just a few hundred years, gotten larger and heartier. People are taller, on average, than they were just a couple of centuries ago.
    This is all part of evolution, which has been going on since the first signs of life on this planet (how many billion years ago?).
    But believing in evolution doesn’t mean you have to give up on God.
    Perhaps God created evolution. Would you deny his handiwork?

    How I pity you and (in the former case) your alleged education. The Pikachu obviously doesn’t even know the meaning of the word “hypothesis”, as opposed to “theory”. Nabuquduriuzhur should ask his alma mater for his money back.
