Being bored and a procrastinator leaves little done. However we have seen that when motivated Calvin can do a great deal of work that he would look upon as fun.

    Endeavor to persevere.

    (There’s a movie reference there.)

Ever since kids started using blue boxes as molds filled with snow and a little water snow sculptures have taken on a whole different form.

Correct. And he was an actual chief.

Lone Watie (Chief Dan George): We thought about it for a long time, “Endeavor to persevere.” And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union.

It’s easier to make snowmen who are lying down.

Speaking of Chief Dan George, I know this is “off topic”, but he was also a poet:

    The beauty of the trees,
    the softness of the air,
    the fragrance of the grass,
    …speaks to me.

    The summit of the mountain,
    the thunder of the sky,
    the rhythm of the sea,
    …speaks to me.

    The faintness of the stars,
    the freshness of the morning,
the dew drop on the flower,
    …speaks to me.

    The strength of fire,
    the taste of salmon,
    the trail of the sun,
and the life that never goes away,
    …They speak to me.

    And my heart soars.

    —Chief Dan George
