Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

There’s no such person as a poor student, only bad teachers that can’t incite or hold the interest of their students.

“It’s a sedimentary rock”, very likely formed by deposits during the worldwide flood of Noah’s day.

They are superb pets. I have one (Ena) who dozes quietly on the bathroom windowsill, guarding the house against burglars.
She is clean, quiet and does not shed, and very economical to keep. She’s also remarkably hardy and never ails for anything (I suspect a lot of these fancy rocks are probably prone to erosion, or even fossils, which could lead to big geologist’s bills).
Although she is very trustworthy with family and friends, I know in my heart that if anyone broke into the house, she would fall on their head and crack their skull open. We all feel safer for having her about.
Plus, research has shown that polishing up a rock leads to a reduction in blood pressure, and an increase in Alpha wave activity.
It’s a win-win situation.
There are many abandoned rocks desperate for loving homes – why not visit your local beach, stream or quarry today and offer shelter to one of the most loyal companions you could ever have.
