Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

You must care for others and for yourself too, when you lie down, you can’t help very much others. But you must not care too much in yourself it must be place enough for others!

I quite agree with what Ambrose Bierce had said –
Egotist n. A person of low taste, more interested in himself than in me.

Calvin’s “Me-ism” is closely related to another self absorbed trait – Narcissism.
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder in which the individual is described as being excessively preoccupied with issues of personal adequacy, power, prestige and vanity. (Props to Wiki.) Yes, I have spoken of this before.
