Hobbes appreciates the warm fire in the hearth!! Good warming, Hobbes!

This is proof that Hobbes is smarter than Calvin. One of many proofs that is.

As I got older, my winter experiences are going to be more like “Goodnight Moon” than “Into the Wild.”

Well Hobbes is telling you you’re going the wrong way, Calvin. Don’t go looking to be in a wreck, because eventually everyone ends up in one. And it’s not fun.

Neither is wrong, just too bad they’re not on the same page. Adventure and excitement, safety and comfort, both are good things I appreciate — apparently Calvin is somewhat conflicted within himself. No risk, no gain; no guts, no glory!
Sometimes I choose to just go home and watch TV, rather than go out to try and meet people and find romance, avoiding the risk of rejection and disappointment, crashing on doom drop…..
