   Slow Page Loading on GoComics (Update #247)
   
   Here is a message that I received from GoComics yesterday:

   I’ve been wanting to test this out, but every time I open GoComics to try to test it, the site is running super fast. When I want the site to run slow, it simply won’t cooperate. How frustrating.
   
   If you are experiencing very slow page-loading and you find that these instructions help to improve loading time, if you find that they have no effect, or if you find that they cause your computer to spontaneously combust, please post your findings, and I’ll feed back a summary of the results to GoComics.

    Technically, Calvin didn’t have enough forward momentum in panel 1 to be able to flip completely over. He needed to be running, in order to have sufficient kinetic energy that could be translated into potential energy in the form of height when he tripped, not to mention also translating forward momentum into rotational momentum. But, we’ll let that pass….
