Yes, where is everyone. For the past 3 1/2 years, I have been a regular reader of this comic strip. What happened? Where is everyone? I just want to say my day at works starts with Calvin and comments.

It’ll be easy money. Just don’t be surprised if it’s deducted from your allowance.

New twist on the detective novel: the PI did it.

Or was it the PI’s cat?

Oh, this is too cool!! This definitely gave me a good laugh today! But, I fear there will be something slapping but it ain’t going to be greenbacks against his palm!! It’s going to be someone else’s palm against his little backside! But, I hope this detective series continues!

Tracer. Tracer Bullet. I’m hoping that bottle has Gin in it. (Gin-ger Ale)

I’m thinking, if his aim is to get some cash, he will miss his target. That dame isn’t going to dole out the dough.

Is Mom going to need help in solving this or is this a case that can be solved from using past experiences?

Sid & musicnut, obviously it is a pack of Lucky Strike chocolate cigarettes (like I had when I was 6 – many decades ago)

Keltii, Calvin being Calvin, undoubtedly the latter.

The only thing that will be doing any slapping will be HER palm across his backside. The detective will regard this as an assault by a shadow figure involved in the case whose identity has yet to be revealed….

Well, who do you think, Mom?!?

I’ll give you 3 guesses as to who the guilty party is … and the first 2 don’t count (because the first 2 are you and your hubby)!

Ahhhh… good ol’ Tracer Bullet. Wonder where Bill Watterson got the name from. That itself is a mystery…

whitecarabao: How does he get the chocolate cigarette to smoke like that?

I’d say there will be more strikes and a lot less luck for our gumshoe detective with this case.

OK, why the heck does it seem like these Tracer Bullet stories always end up happening when Calvin ( or Hobbes ) does something extremely stupid???
