Just a one-sentence comment for today:

This “snow goon” series is clearly an exceedingly profound allegorical drama with far-reaching implications regarding the abominable coldness of evil; the unintended ramifications of our unwise actions which can easily snowball; the heartless, cold-blooded nature of evil’s manifestations; the capacity of evil to manipulate our imaginations by snowing us with an avalanche of fears; evil’s abhorrence for an environment of warmth; the insufficiency of our feeble attempts to close the door on evil or to hide from it out in the open; evil’s overriding pervasiveness and its tenacity in following us; the ability of evil to sustain itself and propagate in a dormant, numbing environment devoid of life and growth; the futility of our attempts to control and destroy evil; the inability of others to recognize evil’s true nature; the depraved, destructive, heartless, and nefarious intensity of evil’s chilling, icy, wintry grip on………

Just kidding. There are times when we shouldn’t look too hard for a deep underlying meaning, and we should just sit back and laugh.

Considering he invoked “lower powers” to animate it, it shouldn’t surprise him if it was evil, right?

Just saw today’s Lio strip. C’mon, Calvin, he can get along with the evil snowman – why can’t you?

Calvin, Hobbes, Lio and Suzie could gang up on him and he wouldn’t stand a snowball’s chance in…

Mom will take care of it….she already fussed at Calvin for building it smack on the front door step where she couldn’t get out.

“and if he didn’t kill mom, she’d have a fit about the water on the floor”. Only Calvin could come up with this as a possible complication to his plan. You gotta love it………..

I’d throw a blanket over him first so he can’t tell where you’re coming from, then get him with the icicle!
