Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Calvin heard ZIPPPPP, and he ZIPPPPPed into the house!
Meanwhile, Dad might be in danger of being arrested for disturbing the peace in the neighborhood. “Where’s that kid?”
It’s a ‘tents’ situation!

Doesn’t dad remember being a little boy? He should know to announce his presense first!

I’ve had a few nights just like it! One was reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula while alone on a rainy night! I was so engrossed in the book, when my dad walked into the house, I almost died of fright!

Mom and Dad need to take better care of what they buy Calvin as reading material. In dealing with a six year old it’s not censorship; it’s common sense.
Of course, common sense is not very common.

“Several tuna comments… are you saying something about taking a tuna for the wurst?”
“One good ‘tuna’ deserves another.”
That (your comment) is one of the ‘wurst’ puns I’ve ever seen or heard. It’s so bad it’s almost brilliant. Hot dog!

That would’ve taken all the fun out of it. Dad lives for moments like these. It’s payback for that incident with the bathroom faucet last wek.

Neither parent has any imagination at all, nor any memory of what childhood was like.
Maybe they both sprang to life fully grown, like Athena!

My parents knew better than to let me sleep out in the back yard, I would have been long gone by the time dad came to check on me.

We did a boy scout family camp once where one of the mothers had an incredible talent for ghost stories. She had those boys up all night afraid to go to sleep. Of course that meant the rest of us were up as well. Try sleeping with a bunch of scared 10 and 11 year olds wide awake in the next tent over…..
