Not to get too serious here but this strip gets me wondering who Hobbs is? I’m sure he isn’t Calvin’s
imagination because Hobbs knows things Calvin doesn’t and, like today’s strip, Hobbs does things that is a surprise to Calvin. Since no one but Calvin else sees Hobbs could he be a spirit inhabiting the stuffed animal such as a poltergist (playful spirit)? Any thoughts?
