Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

That’s it! Wait until he’s gasping for air and make your escape!

I am too anxious right now to know what will happen when dad comes to know. It is really nerve wracking.

Coronary: a song played during a coronation.
Who needs binoculars when you could just walk closer to what you are looking at?
Ladywolf17 said, 4 months ago
I’m very happy right now, so I’m sorry that I can’t help you right now Calvin.
kpeiyin said, 4 months ago
Hobbes, you are not helping, are you? Good luck to you, Calvin!

Calvin, he could just go balistic.

Good thinking, Calvin….you can make your getaway hiding in the ambulance under dad’s gurney.

Like JFri said, don’t try this with a Grizzly. They can run 40 mph up hill.

Calvin, choose one of the following:
a) Hobbes did it.
b) Someone stole them.
c) They fell out of the overhead bin when I was doing that barrel roll.
d) Susie did it to get me in trouble.
e) All of the above.
Sebastian Van Uytfange said, 4 months ago
Indeed, it is always the parents’ fault when their kids break something. At least, that’s what I said when I wrecked the car.
Leonardeuler said, 4 months ago
Yukoner: insulting Susie is even worse than breaking those binoculars.

Hobbes always has the right answers.
carpetinwater9 said, 4 months ago
Things could be worse! At six years old life goes on to better things to break.

That’s it Calvin, blame the victim. You’re almost sounding like a politician now.

Pleeeeezeeee……….Don’t mention Calvin and politics in the same sentence….aren’t we in enough trouble now???

Charlie has it right. Calvin can come to Canada for some left over Canada day cake. Oh is it good, strawberries in the pattern of a maple leaf. Yummy!

Coronary? I thought that was a little yellow bird that tweets and pesters Sylvester.
musicnut1986 said, 4 months ago
Calvin, play the Blame Game.
Example: “Moe did it”!
Kerovan said, 4 months ago
If I remember right, tomorrow we get to see the damage. Dad’s reaction will be delayed a couple of days.

Why keep punishing us ? I think it’s about time for Dad to find out that it is all Susie’s fault somehow or another.

Calvin is all panicked about what might happen HIM, but thinks a heart attack for Dad is a great idea. Children are basically self-centered and we don’t improve much.

@Yukoner and JFri, that pretty much applies to watching bison also. For a big animal, they are fast and agile, and unpredictable. Best to stay off and use the binocs.

cleokaya: i like your response !
i wonder if maybe dad didn’t make a switcharoo and put a pair of dime store binoculars in place knowing how calvin is
Stede_Bonnet said, 4 months ago
I have editted out the first panel “We’re doomed! We’re doomed!” Calvin to use as my screen saver. ;-)
unemandarine said, 4 months ago
Yup it’s dad’s fault…. Calvin you’re in BIG trouble.

Goodquestion:
No thats a canary ^^
Hobbes has the right idea, just tell him. Most people will forgive and forget… but it IS expensive. Tell him and/or run. Tough decision ^^

Hey, it’s the price parents pay for all those hugs and kisses!

Some of us readers have been saying the same thing Calvin’s now saying – and saying it for days now, if memory serves. We all kind of saw this coming.
