    I saved it to my computer and zoomed in on the year. Though it was too blurry to read clearly, i would say that this was inked in 1988

    I think 1988 would be about right. I vividly remember last Monday’s “Bug Butter” was about then, when I was in D.C. And I tend to agree with Dad’s judgment about “true leadership.”

    On the other hand, I’m just overjoyed that I didn’t miss “Bug Butter” by being away for a week, and having gocomics change everything on me….
