If you feel like chasing something, Hobbes, Calvin’s standing right there. You like pouncing on him, don’t you?
Yukoner said, 6 months ago
Chasing your tail isn’t bad, but when your tail starts chasing you, it’s then that you know you’re in trouble.

p.s. - a good story teller is always chasing a tale.

In “little black sambo” the tyger turned into butter.
Hobbes turned dizzy.

the 4th panel from the end almost looks like the tail is after Hobbes, I’m sure glad I found this cause I sure know I’ve missed C&H!!!

There are people like that - always chasing after big bucks and welfare.

Yeah, but in “Sambo” the tigers were chasing Sambo around a tree, not their tails (or at least they thought they were). By the way, this story explains where Tiger Butter comes from.

I’ve known times I would have liked the bed to stop spinning so I could get off.

I became a C & H fan late of the publications in the newspapers, so when it was discontinued, I bought books. Then I discovered this website, and I get my daily “fix.”

yokoner and yokoneric have a strange similarity in their names

pardon my spelling
Yukoner said, 6 months ago
I’ve always viewed spelling as a creative art form. Forgiveness granted.

This one is in my top ten C & H Sunday strips. Why? For all the right reasons, not least being the sardonic line ending with, “…your tail still has a death grip on your butt.”

Yep, Rakkav, though there are probably 30 or 40 Sunday strips in my top ten. ;-)

Ahh - the tired pursuit of circular reasoning found in carbon-dating to make the age of the earth be more than 7000 years old. Poor Hobbes.
