Cleo, a first I thought that to be redundant, but then,…. that’s the point isn’t it!!

Four bowls of sugar bombs should do it.

Well, that’s about how I feel this Monday morning…

Always consistantly hilarious!

jweb1510–of course, for Calvin, Monday is the time between 23:59:59.99 on Sunday and 00:00:00.01 on Saturday.

but not fully awake. which is why mom and dad are still so calm

The power surge wasn’t effective enough. It should have been 20000 volts instead of 2000 volts. One zero can make the difference on monday morning …..

Ugh I always feel like that in the morning.
prasrinivara said, 6 months ago
No Terry–all of the surge went through Calvin; for Hobbes, daytime is rest-time.

prasvinivara I’ve had Mondays like that.

Calvin had a terrible nightmare.

Yes, four bowls of sugar bomb cereal with added chocolate syrup and four scoops of sugar is just the pick-me-up that Calvin needs to get going.

What an imagination. Somehow his parents and teachers have to figure out how to channel it into something useful.
Richard said, 6 months ago
On the other hand, a dish of prunes will get him ‘going’.
grazer said, 6 months ago
Enjoy the monster’s stupor while you can, folks—
a big bowl of Sugar Bombs will soon empower what a lightning bolt merely jump-started.

It’s Monday, the poor kid has to go to school. Get him revved with the sugar bomb cereal and hope it has worn off by the time he gets home!

Yes, make the poor teachers (and other students, like Tabbylynn) deal with his sugar-high. Real kind of you…

Calvin and Hobbs is great for the imagination, trouble and adventures that abound for kids this age. I’m glad Bill did these before school counselors started their A.D.D. campaign and Ritlin program to drug the kiddies into submission.

Calvin reminds me of my own kids. I wouldn’t sell them for a million dollars, but I wouldn’t give you a nickel for another one just like them.
