Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

I bet Houdini would not be able to get of this tight Tiger hold even at the risk of his own food.

Hobbes is having so much fun that if Mom does not come to his room Calvin is going to stay like this forever, LOL

Ever notice how total incompacitation has a way of making Calvin momentarily humble??
Love it.

Hobbes is in the M’s looking at Morse Code, it will be a while before he gets to the K’s for knots. Hang in there Calvin, a cold dinner and warm milk is better than nothing at all. Sorry the apology didn’t work.

I am sensing a grand entrance from Calvin similar to the time I thought I could ride my tricycle down the stairs.

I have always loved the interaction between calvin and his “stuffed animal”. His parents will wonder how Calvin managed to tie himself up like that but we all know Hobbess did… or did he…?

Worst parents in the world … no, actually like many of our parents today- the inmates run the asylum.

Hold on! Hobbes says, “You got yourself into this, Mr. Houdini, not me.”, yet I distinctively remember Hobbes tying Calvin up on Monday! Is Hobbes admitting that he’s a figment of Calvin’s imagination?
IGoPogo2 said, 10 months ago
Loomis - As I recall while it’s true Hobbes did the binding, it was at Calvin’s request.

Hobbes had his hands magically to tie Calvin up on that chair. Perfect tight!
Mommy and Daddy will be more angry LOLs!
longtimecomicsfan said, 10 months ago
OK, OK, send Mom and Dad up to look in on Calvin, already!
I’m dying to know:
1) Is Calvin really tied up, or is it another “Spaceman Spiff”-type fantasy?
2) If he IS tied up, did Hobbes do it, or did Calvin “magically” tie himself into an inescapable knot?
You shouldn’t be able to tie yourself up, just like you can’t tickle yourself…

It’s OK, Calvin. Dinner was broccoli casserole.

no no… days like that dinner is always something more appealing. It’s quite uncanny how mothers do that…
Geekologist said, 10 months ago
Calvin could morse code “HELP” to his parents. Too bad they don’t have the book…
hungrybear said, 10 months ago
I would never do such a thing myself.

Was it the stewed monky heads, or the maggot soup she made that day?
