Get a life Calvin. Enjoy, instead of being a grouch.

A bath on Sunday, school on Monday. The Sad story of my life back then. Everyday should be a Friday going into a Saturday.

Hobbes likes life, he takes it how it is and finds it fine!

MAKE C&H BIGGER!! IT’S IMPOSSIBLE TO ENJOY FULLY WHEN IT’S THIS SMALL!!
Sorry for shouting.

I think it should finish with the fireworks frame

The only difference now is I have to go to work on Monday, instead of school, and I still don’t like applesauce.

Looks like Calvin’s picking up an apple. I think Hobbes is gonna get it in the back of the head.

RussleNash, hold down ctrl button and use the scroll wheel at the same time to either enlarge or shrink your screen font…I have to do this on some of these too. Best of luck!

I was totally like Calvin growing up. Especially his attitude in this one.

There is also a 100% down in the right corner that will enlarge.

I am happy to say that this is called retirement and I am thrilled that I have reached that point in my life. Often, the only way that I can remember the current day is by checking my newspaper. Of course with the financial condition of the world nowadays I may find myself back to dreading Mondays.

I had no idea how to enlarge the comic strips. Thx for the tips, even more enjoyable this way.

Gweedo;
I agree with cleokaya, I retired 18 months ago and can HIGHLY recommend it.

How is it that kids go from hating baths to spending half an hour in a steaming shower in just a few short years?

I am retired, too. I have all Saturdays now, and can only tell them apart when it’s Sunday, the Lord’s day!!!
Gweedo Murray said, 11 months ago
Ah.. retired folks unite. I’m on disability so in effect I enjoy retirement status. Here it comes..
How sweet it is !!!

WHOA! Dude! The ‘ctrl-roll’ is awesome and it seems to keep it’s resolution too. So much better than ‘magnify’ function that is in the machine that I push the scroll button for and then wait for it to come up.. I need to try this some other places before burning to memory.(mine)
Didn’t see that 100% thing in any of the corners Silver.

My husband is STILL a grouch about Sunday evenings. I can’t ever get him to bed (even with marital motivation) early enough to get 8 hours of sleep, because he says the sooner he goes to bed, the sooner he has to go to work.
(The 100% thingy is on my frame - not the webpage. I’ve got Vista, so maybe it depends on your OS.)

Weird that this site only allows 16 year olds and up. Kids enjoy comics too!

Yo! It did not work that way. I tried to press and held the control button and then, press the scroll on the mouse, but it did not work right. Sighhh! :-/

I enjoyed your comment Ray. I love the fall for the crisp, still evenings around a roaring patio fire. You can even see the night sky that time of year. It’s the five 1x@? months of winter I can’t stand. At least we have the internet now!

I think you’re right, Space-Cadet: it looks like the first three of the last four panels were inserted just as space fillers. Maybe one more reason Watterson got tired of the comic page drudgery.

“Fuzzhead” haha one of my all-time favorite nicknames for Hobbes…

I think hobbes expression in the 6th panel is cute.I’m 10,and I can relate to how Calvin’s felling.
