Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Calvin over reacts again. This isn’t the one where Rosalyn gets locked outside, I guess.

Somebody will get in trouble now.

I like the cop’s face. Did he get someone else to draw that one ? It’s different than the other people. Wonder if Cal will try the puppy dog eyes on them.

Calvin is a hoot!! Anyone who has an ADHD child will appreciate this comic!
I have been a fan for years and really missed Calvin when they stopped printing a daily comic in the local papers! GO CALVIN! Oh, and Hobbes too!

Calvin and Hobbes are always good for surprises!

Ya think by now the police would have this phone number on their list of ones not to take 100% seriously calls from….

The police may in fact have Calvin’s number (so to speak). Notice the cop knocked, didn’t use the battering ram.
This is a nice resolution. Rosalyn was the perfect sitter, but Calvin had not given up. If the parents had arrived 10 minutes later, she would have had some explaining to do!

Gweedo, I think the cop has the facial structure of a Dick Tracy sketch but the overall resolution fits right in with C&H

Hello! What city do you live in that you usually get the newspaper with the comics including C&H daily?

Geez, Gocomics sure skips through these story lines quickly, I’ll have to check my archives but I’m sure there are three or four days worth that go between yesterday’s and today’s strip.

Hugh, I think you’re thinking of another one. There are quite a few where Calvin tries to pull a fast one on Ros!
space-cadet said, 11 months ago
oh dear
why did mum and dad even ask if calvin was any trouble in the first panel of course he was trouble!
MrBillT said, 11 months ago
Rosalyn has a look of resignation and “I might have known I couldn’t get one step ahead of calvin.” Der Führer goes down in defeat this time “click”, Go Calvin……

Hope springs eternal.
On the other hand, they immediately both know who is responsible for any trouble when it shows up.

Dada could totally eat the cops head.
The police must take every call seriously. What if that’s the one time it’s legit, and they don’t show up?
SamFP said, 11 months ago
Is this the same phone that Calvin took out in the woods to make his bird calls? … lol
