The good ones quit too early. C&H, The Far Side, daily Fox Trot…
Fortunately, my memory is so poor that reading these reruns is like seeing them for the first time.
I don’t think Calvin every aged through the length of the strip. At least, he was always in the same grade…’course I did know a guy who was 16 in the 7th grade.
Anyway, he’d probably be the same age today as he was then. May have something to do with that cardboard time machine, eh?
Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

What if they traveled into the future and found out that Calvin had morphed into Frazz?

Frazz looks a lot more like a grown-up Calvin.

I’d like to know how Calvin knows they’re near Present :)

Calvin as a teenager? Jacking cars and terrorising the streets, or would he have mellowed by then?

Hobbes looked like he had a “travel sickness” similar as seasick or motion sickness.

for enz1m3:
On that, the same way he knows what the transmogrifier will turn someone into (admittedly, plot hole, but…)

I think that’s why Bill Watterson locked down the strip when he did - he jumped into a cardboard box one afternoon and saw Calvin as a teenager ROFL!

A scary thought just occurred to me: Calvin is now old enough to vote!

As a teen, Calvin will be in a halfway house with Dennis Mitchell and Lio.
