Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Mom and Dad are probably mad at Calvin for shaking Hobbes.
“But Mom, I told him not to do that in here.”

Give him a stuffed tiger, and see where it leads.

Calvin actually wasn’t given Hobbes, he caught him in a snare trap (which is even greater deffiance for the “Hobbes is just a stuffed toy” view, and Watterson loved to play with that).
Now I’m thinking “poor calvin, he’s going to have to dry off a second time

Oooh, poor Calvin, if I was Calvin in this situation, I would throw out Hobbes on the rain.
