Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Calvin is a REAL BOY. My brother and I did stuff like this all the time.
(I was a better student than Calvin, though.) (But definitely not as intelligent.)

You are right, Ray C. Everyone is somewhat like Calvin, or for an animal, Hobbes.

Tigers love to swim, and abyssinian and Turkish Van cats also like water. I have a cat who showers with me.
Original date for this strip: 1 August 1987

mrprongs …. saying that no one can predict the future or even that the Mayans (collectively) did not predict the end of the world by ending their calender when they did, is not calling the Mayans a liar. Not even a god can know the future, much less the Mayans collectively or individually.
