…or simply hold them accountable for their behavior – and not just by lecturing them or complaining about them.

Accountability?!?! What’s that? Everything is somebody else’s fault now! Isn’t life so much easier that way?

Give me a break, it’s a comic strip that makes us laugh, not a parenting class!

“simply hold them accountable for their behavior” It doesn’t always work. The kids have to have some sense of remorse. You can’t make them care of they don’t want to.

Oh, that’s the arc that came from. I forgot what he was causing trouble with.

It sounds like what my Mom would say and I still quote her to friends now. Mom always said, “I hope when you grow up you get one just like you!”. She was thrilled when she heard me using her line on my son when he was little. I heard my son the other day say it to my granddaughter and I guess It’ll go on for generations to come. Thanks Mom! xxoo

I’m with TobyBartels… No kids here…so I can laff my head off at Calvin’s antics. I paid close attention growing up to my Dysfunctional family!
