Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes has been a worldwide favorite since its introduction in 1985. The strip follows the richly imaginative adventures of Calvin and his trusty tiger, Hobbes. Whether a poignant look at serious family issues or a round of time-travel (with the aid of a well-labeled cardboard box), Calvin and Hobbes will astound and delight you.

Dad must be suffering from constant lack of sleep or job worries. Not the best reaction to a child’s monster fears, but, for Calvin & Hobbes, I guess it fits!!!

Whoever tagged this comic with “Reminds me on My own children!”, please put remarks like this in the comments area. Or at least put quotes around the tag.
Tags are are there to help people find comics by subject. As it is, some of the keywords associated with his comic are “me”, “my”, “on”, and “own”. Not exactly useful.

…and the other half of the tags are “Calvin” or “Hobbes” spelled wrong.
Good point, Ed.

I JUST HATED WHEN MONSTERS WERE UNDER THE BED!! I wish I had known about turning on the light. I lost so much sleep….wondering if they were going to get me.

all goo comments… what really gets me, too, is that his mom [never] and his dad [hardly ever] play with him. they just put pressure on him. no wonder he spends all his time with hobbes!

I’m not sure what my 7yo boy says, but I hear him mumble each time I leave the room…
