Once you open the cat carrier it will be either dead or alive, like duh.

The cat is alive. The box they give you with your dead cat is shaped different and has no holes.
    This is a happy cartoon.

The cat is alive. I believe that! The Grim Reaper hugged him and the carrier has holes in it like a regular pet taxi!
