    (raises hand) Balloons are evil creations used to terrify small children by “adults” (term used very loosely here) who would derive sadistic pleasure by popping such hell-born pieces of latex in front of said child’s face. Now if you will excuse me, I shall be in the corner, hugging myself, and trying to make the bad memories go away. Can’t even look at a hot air balloon to this day, and do not even start me on the carnival midway games where you point the water pistol at the clown’s mouth and make the balloon pop. Shiver.
