    Most of the birther scandal could have been settled if Obama had just had his college records, university records, birth records and such released.. When you have nothing to hide it shouldn’t be hard to be open right? I’m not really on the whole Obama isn’t a citizen kick, but I think the man was being a jackass by not validating his info.. Can’t get a drivers license without providing certified documentation but you can be president cause no one wants the race card played on them..

    Oh, please! If the birth certificate wasn’t enough, what the H-ll do you think college transcripts would do? His birth records HAVE been released by the Hawaii authorities. It was obviously enough to get him a passport (which requires you show birth certificate or naturalization papers). So what IS your problem, Lucas?

    Actually the certificates were not released, what was released was a residency paper not a certified birth certificate. Which wasn’t released until after he was President.. I’m merely saying that he should have be forthright and provided all the documentation without all the cases going to court and such.. Its as much principal as it is fact versus fiction. now the governor of Hawaii has vouched for him but someones word isn’t what the people want.. They want certified documentation.. Is that too much to ask..? Don’t answer I’m sure his rabid fans will believe it is too much to question the great one. and Obama hasn’t been afraid to play the race card when it suites him.. That is my problem… Hypocrits and thoughtless users bug me.. Same as his call for transparency when he has the most secretative sub-layered administration we’ve seen in years.

    He should do it because the constitution has requirements of office and no one should be allowed to mock or ignore those requirements. Requirements require validation, publicly. They made McCaine do it over his medical history but Obama kind of had the media on a favored pet short leash and if he was questioned then that person was obviously a racist…

    WestTex, you are quite wrong! The Obama campaign released a “Certification of Live Birth” a long time ago, and posted it online. It most certainly was NOT a residency paper.

    This is just a continuation of the sleazy e-mails and lies that started before he even won the Dem. nomination. It’s the same old shjt just reworked to sound new. Those old e-mails are still being sent, even now. I know, cause I had a friend who continues to send them to me until about a month ago when I said no more, stop, go away.

    And I personally believe this shjt would not continue if he wasn’t bi-racial with a father born in Kenya. This is racist, as well as sick, twisted and evil.

    Ok, I’ve seen the barely legible newspaper scan which should have had the title, page number blah blah on it, but didn’t. I have never seen a scan of the Certification of Live Birth can someone post a link.. Now I have seen multiple photoshopped ones both ways. Cause I would really like to put this to rest with some individuals I discuss politics with but I need something more concrete.. Just a scan of the certificate anyone. As I said I’m not concerned with rather or not he’s a citizen.. I just want to see a scan of a certified hard copy.. It should have an embossed stamp mark.

    If someone can provide this then I will gladly admit my prior statements are misinformed but hearsay isn’t good enough.

    Its just not really credible even as a duplicate. The original would have been scanned for record preservation prior to shredding. there should be embossing.

    Um Thanks for http://tinyurl.com/6n9zka but do you notice the inconsistency? Zoom in on the copy of the entire certificate.. You notice that the embossing isn’t on that certificate.. They have a separate picture of the embossing but its not on the document..

    I’m big on the scientific method but the data does not add up in a feasible manner.. and that is ignoring the cases based on the hex editor logs of the scans.

    Looked up dozens of Hawaii certificates and on ever scan except his the seal is clearly present..

    And WestTex - if the “Certification of Live Birth” (which is what you get when you ask for a birth certificate) is good enough to get a Hawaiian a passport, one of the toughest forms of ID to get, what’s your problem?

    He’s a citizen. Get over it. Worst case scenario is he is a citizen through his mother. And for those who refer to the father not born in the US – he’s not the first president with that status. Chester A. Arthur is.

    I have a passport Motive and no Birth certificate was required and that was decades ago.. I concur.. His mother was an American and even if he was born not on American soil then he had until his 18th birthday to decide on which country to claim citizenship or dual citizen ship as permitted.. The discussion is more over the faults of the documentation and the inability to produce documentation that passes basic scrutiny.. Part of being President is good faith and it is understandable that others are skeptical.. That is what I’m saying.. Dozens of Hawaii born people have provided copies of their certificates over the web.. Every one of theirs has something his does not.. An Embossed Seal that is readily visibly even on scanned copies. Its easy to not believe details when you want to believe in something but look closely at the links I posted above and even links others posted and looks for the Embossed Seal when you can see the whole document.. It should be easy to see, but its not there.. That means its not a legal document by any state or federal standard.

    I don’t have a problem with his citizenship.. I am taking the stance of point out validity of concerns with evidence provided.. I am not a birther but they are all being stereotyped or profiled if you will as being illogical radicals.. They have some very valid points if you sift through the aluminum foil.

    Oh and thanks for the Arthur trivia bit.. Was something I didn’t know..

    West Tex, what are the rules for homestead exemption in Texas? Cheney held one until just before he ran with Bush. President and Vice Presidential candidates cannot be from the same state- that’s in the Constitution- so let’s see the documents on Cheney, including his college diploma and grade transcripts as well.

    WestTex, go back and look at those jpgs on factcheck.org again. They clearly show the embossed seal on the certificate in three jpgs. There is another jpg showing the seal separately as you say. You just conveniently neglected to mention the three that show the seal very clearly on the certificate.

    You see, this is exactly why it never ends and exactly why Obama should do no more. Here’s an excellent, independent site like factcheck. org that has seen, handled, touched and submitted no less than NINE photographs of the certificate and it isn’t enough for you whackos, which includes Lou Dobbs on this non-issue.

    For the record you can get a Passport wthout a birth certificate there is a federal exemption for it.. Takes about 5 minutes of paperwork at the discretion of the issuing agency. I got one, its easy to do, but its no biggie.. Now in regards to the embossing.. Yes there is a picture of an embossed logo on a .jpg its done on a different tone and texture paper where you can’t see the original document or any print.. Its bad document verification process.. No court house would accept records like that. Now on the original even if you expand resolution on the photoshop its not there. Thats all I’m saying.. Actually look at the photos provided in their entirety.. Don’t assume, just look like you were healthily skeptical instead of wanting to believe something or even as if you were a healthy believer instead of wanting to disbelieve something. ;) Its not a bit deal to me but really.. If you open the print in a hexeditor there is also an edit time stamp where the document has been altered in 2008.. I don’t doubt the man has rights as a citizen, the comment is the birthers have certain valid statements. The document doesn’t pass the basic federal standards we used to valid military IDs and thats fairly weak as it goes..

    Comment to Dale half of all Scandals are fabrications.. Public Communication 101, the rules are apologize early and often and also address falsehoods quickly and thoroughly regardless of how ridiculous they are.. Truth be told I wanted to see Bush’s Military Records as well.. In regards to Clinton.. I believe its unethical for a Draft Dodger to be made Commander in Chief.. Being afraid to die for ones country but being willing to send others to die just seems a tad wrong..

IF YOU NOTICE, THERE ARE EXEMPTION AND PROVISIONS OF SECONDARY ID IN THE LINK YOU SENT.. Bother to read what you quote.. Its called Primary ID and Secondary ID substitutions in lieu of the availability of Primary ID.. It what you do when your house burns down but you can’t get a new SS Card until you have a Driver License which requires a SS Card. It also applies for application to any state or federal identification including Passports. What country I was born in is inconsequential, after all I’m not running for Federal office.. ;)
    Try to not let it get personal just stick to the facts.. I know its hard for you to remain logical over emotional but please try.. :)

    Yes, all of which you must show a birth certificate, to get. So all their saying is that they will except the fact that you showed it (birth certificate ) at some point to someone in authority, in order to get the ID your using.

    No, consider the court house burning cases and lost archives.. There are many ways of getting identification without a Birth certificate.. Now I do have a question.. Baptismal Certificate is listed.. I don’t recall a Birth Certificaqte being required for that.. Census record merely being present at sometime is a Secondary Form.. Early School Record, remember all the issues over illegal aliens in tax payer schools that came up awhile back.. and finally Family Bible Record, so a hand written document by a family member in the front of a religious text counts.. Once again no Birth Cerificate required. Check the link and read off those items.. They’re there and hardly solid verification..
