Bruce Beattie joined the Daytona Beach News-Journal in Florida as editorial cartoonist in 1981 and today is syndicated to hundreds of newspapers. In addition to syndication, Beattie's cartoons have been featured on "Meet the Press," in the New York Times, New York Daily News, Detroit News, Milwaukee Journal and in several museum exhibits.

Gladius - I don’t know that this connects to anything. It doesn’t comment on public events, doesn’t present a point of view … really doesn’t do anything except crack a cheap joke about a serious illness.
Nothing against Beattie, but I don’t actually see the point of this cartoon.

There have been about 400 headlines per minute about Jobs and this liver. It’s a little unnecessary.
