The American people can be counted on to do the right thing when they finally get the truth out in the open. The blinders of hate, prejudice, and greed grow slowly, but now the Republican mantra of the past 20 years has been stripped away by a real American.
Do to others as you want others to do to you.
A HUMAN concept thousand of years older than the first religion.

Stewie - Actually, I think that even a good many of the 56 million who voted for McCain would say that Obama is a real American.

This issue of who is a REAL American opens the door to justifying mistreatment, disdain, bias, and hatred. We need to be very cautious about what we stand for as Americans.

I have been told that my family is not a REAL family by California - and by a very slim majority.

The imposition of REALness by a majority upon a minority is part of what America was founded to oppose.

That having been said, the Democrats now need to be watchful of imposing their REALity upon congress. The more it is an imposition, the more the Republican will fight to oppose it. This is an opportunity to look for joint solutions to problems that face all of us a country not just as Red Americans or Blue Americans or Grey Americans who voted for someone else or Invisible Americans, who have no vote at all (for any of a number of different reasons).

Make that more like 58 million that voted for other than Obama, certainly no Mandate..and lots of work He’ll need to do to win over this chunk of the electorate…

Having said that I wish him luck, with his lack of experience and warped view of the world, He’s going to need it…

Mach – Is that the same not-mandate that Bush crowed about for months on end after the ‘04 election?

    MUCHADOODOO,
    “with his lack of experience”

Obviously Obama OUT experienced, OUT managed, and displayed JUDGEMENT far beyond their “experienced” capabilities, AND RIGHT UNDER THE VERY NOSES OF THOSE IN POWER, DURING THE WHOLE CAMPAIGN. Republicans can not recognize excellence.

Machado: Please tell us all what was the result of the election…
    350 electoral votes,
    52% of popular vote,
Senate and Representatives in Dem’s hands…

And you still try to minimize such victory?

I thought that all your avatars drowned the other night in Stew’s Maalox swimming pool… you see, Stew has a new one…

    StewieZ says:

“6 million people difference in a nation of 300 million does not a total crushing victory make.”

And how many did W “win” by in 2000?

Your “family” is an abomination, curiosity, and one day in eternity, God, who created us male and female, will tell you this to your face.

What rejoicing we see over a barbarian being elected to lead this country of pagans. I, for one, am praying for the strength to endure the same persecution and possible martyrdom that other Christians around the world have endured for the sake of Christ our God. We have had it so good in American for so long – now the pagan chickens have come home to roost in this nation started by Masons and pagans.

    Christian country my Aunt Minnie!!!

If you aren’t angry, something is seriously wrong with you. You aren’t paying attention.

We are in deep doo thanks to these slimey snakes in Washington.

Enjoy your war, recession, and baby killing while it lasts. God is not mocked!
