    TGS: days ago, I posted public information extracted from the FBI investigation about 1993 WTC bombing. There is NO REFERENCE whatsoever to Al-Qaeda and OBL in there… no single evidence…

    If somebody -many years later- is trying to push the envelope and forcing the facts to fit, that’s another question, and it’s something I won’t buy.

    Let me remind you, that in 1993 OBL was still fully operative under CIA orders making a mess in Afghanistan against the Russians.

    The Soviets withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989. UBL started the Maktab al-Khadamat in 1984 and fought the Russians invasion. In 1988 he split from that organization and began the al-Qaida. Additionally, during the WTC prosecutions in March of 1994 prosecutors presented evidence that the WTC plot was hatched in terrorist training camps on the Afghan-Pakistan border, and that a vast anti-American terrorist network existed. Due to it being 1994 and not September 11th 2001, these facts were not explored. Bottom Line: UBL was not working for the CIA in 1993.
