    Not too many years ago, we would have looked at this strip and asked why it was funny. Sad, really.

    Auditioning for the roll of Achoo or A-sneeze from Robin Hood, Men in Tights?

    I made this same comment on Born Loser today. More often than I would have thought there are two (or more) comic strips on the same day with similar themes. But today Born Loser and Broom Hilda are almost copies of each other.

    Is there more to this than just coincidence?

    @Bill Spencer

    It happens a lot. One wonders if they talk to each other and have the same subjects.

    “We’re men.

    We’re men in tights.

    We roam around the forest looking for fights.

    We’re men.

    We’re men in tii-ights.

    We rob from the rich

    and give to the poor— THAT’S RIGHT!

    We maaaay look like sissies—

    but watch what you say

    or else we’ll put out your lights.

    We’re men— MANLY MEN— we’re men in tights, tights, TIGHTS.

    Always on Guard

    Protecting the people’s rights…"

    The Men in Tights definitely didn’’t look like THIS Sisi:
